Manifesto of Elpis Literary House

šŸ” (1) Our Values and Principles:
Elpis, in Greek mythology, is the spirit of Hope—the one thing that remained in Pandora’s jar when all the evils escaped.
Elpis is the Ethos. It is the soul, the character that makes hope real.
Elpis is built on Ethos: truth, fairness, freedom, and transparency.
Elpis is guarded by code. Guided by conscience. Built for a new tomorrow.

šŸ” (2) Our Principles

  1. Truth: Every review is tied to a verified purchase. No swaps. No lies.
  2. Freedom: Authors own their work. No gatekeepers.
  3. Hope: Great stories deserve to be heard—even if they don't fit the algorithm.
  4. Simplicity: E-books only. Royalties paid exclusively in crypto. No fuss. Just Stories → Readers.

The Values, Principles, and Ethical Guidelines outlined in this Manifesto constitute the clear, binding regulations and rules of Elpis Literary House. By participating in our community, automatically, all members agree to abide by these standards.

Lonely Authors Are Done Waiting

Done with corrupt systems that favor money over merit.
Done with paid reviews disguised as ā€œcompensation for timeā€ or ā€œeditorial fees.ā€
Done with platforms that delete honest, talented voices while protecting large budgets and big gatekeepers.

Elpis is Built on Six Unbreakable Pillars, named as our Ethical Guidelines:

  1. Transparency: No hidden algorithms. No secret deletions of reviews.
  2. Ethos: Our soul. It is character embodied with Phronesis (wisdom), Arete (excellence), Eunoia (goodwill), and Philotimo (honor).
  3. Fairness: No reviews bought or sold. No rating contingent on payment. No review clubs. No incentives to twist opinions. Talent is judged by literary quality alone.
  4. Justice: Real readers who actually read the book have their voices counted. The Literature Agent and Pragmatic Agent speak only truth—balanced, deep, always with kindness for assisting authors to reach higher potential.
  5. Equality: Every author is treated equally, regardless of budget or fame, guided strictly by our values.
  6. A Companion For Real, Lonely Talents: We exist to expose and elevate genuine voices.

Review System

a) Three Layers Reviews

We believe in rigorous validation. Every e-Book on our platform undergoes a unique three-stage analysis solely and exclusively upon its first sale:

  1. The Literature Agent: Lives only for e-Books—pure, isolated, dedicated to literary truth. Provides a deep literary analysis of style, theme, and narrative structure.
  2. The Pragmatic Agent: Evaluates and weighs the plot, market potential, audience engagement, and commercial viability.
  3. The Comparison Verdict: A third synthetic intelligence synthesizes the first two reports to provide a final, balanced recommendation.

These three official reviews are displayed permanently beneath every e-Book.
*** The Reviews are helpful and treat authors with respect, kindness, and truth!

b) Public Reviews

4. The Public Reader: Verified buyers, after their reading, are free to leave their honest reviews, solely and exclusively upon their purchase of the e-Book from Elpis Literary House (elpishouse.xyz).
