Elpis is guarded by code. Guided by conscience. Built for a new tomorrow.

Freedom: Authors own their work. No gatekeepers.
Hope: Great stories deserve to be heard—even if they don't fit the algorithm.
Simplicity: E-books only. Royalties paid exclusively in crypto. No fuss. Just Stories → Readers.

The Values, Principles, and Ethical Guidelines outlined in this Manifesto constitute the clear, binding regulations and rules of Elpis Literary House. By participating in our community, automatically, all members agree to abide by these standards.

Fairness: No reviews bought or sold. No rating contingent on payment. No review clubs. No incentives to twist opinions. Talent is judged by literary quality alone.
Justice: Real readers who actually read the book have their voices counted. The Literature Agent and Pragmatic Agent speak only truth—balanced, deep, always with kindness for assisting authors to reach higher potential.
Equality: Every author is treated equally, regardless of budget or fame, guided strictly by our values.

Review System

a) Three Layers Reviews

We believe in rigorous validation. Every e-Book on our platform undergoes a unique three-stage analysis solely and exclusively upon its first sale:

The Literature Agent: Lives only for e-Books—pure, isolated, dedicated to literary truth. Provides a deep literary analysis of style, theme, and narrative structure.
The Pragmatic Agent: Evaluates and weighs the plot, market potential, audience engagement, and commercial viability.
The Comparison Verdict: A third synthetic intelligence synthesizes the first two reports to provide a final, balanced recommendation.

These three official reviews are displayed permanently beneath every e-Book.

4. The Public Reader: Verified buyers, after their reading, are free to leave their honest reviews, solely and exclusively upon their purchase of the e-Book from Elpis Literary House (elpishouse.xyz).

Submission Requirements:

Maximum file size: 50MB
Complete manuscript only (no excerpts or samples)
Include proper metadata: title, author name, and optional ISBN
Content must be original and free of copyright violations

Every author who uploads their e-book to the Elpis Literary House website automatically acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to the following terms by providing written consent:

1. SOLE RESPONSIBILITY AND ABSOLUTE EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:

a) You warrant that you are the sole owner of the uploaded content and that it does not infringe upon any third-party rights.
b) Elpis Literary House acts solely as a technical hosting intermediary and BEARS ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY, LIABILITY, OR OBLIGATION for any legal disputes, copyright claims, ownership conflicts, or damages arising from your e-Book.
c) You EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE that Elpis Literary House DOES NOT REVIEW, VALIDATE, VERIFY, OR GUARANTEE the ownership, accuracy, or legality of any uploaded content prior to publication.
d) ALL LEGAL LIABILITY RESTS SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY WITH YOU, THE UPLOADING AUTHOR.
e) You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Elpis Literary House, its owners, its agents, and its representatives from ANY claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, liabilities, or legal costs arising and resulting from such disputes.

2. Authors’ Acceptance & Covenant:
I confirm that I have read, confirmed, understood, and agree to the above terms of submission, including the Sole Responsibility and Absolute Exclusion of Liability clause, and I hereby accept and bind myself to the Elpis Principles, Values, and Ethical Guidelines outlined in this Manifesto as the governing rules of this community. Moreover, I declared herewith that I agreed, confirmed and acknowledge all the terms that are set out herewith on the manifesto of Elpis Literary House.

3. Payout Policy: Secure Payments, Fair Compensation

Authors are the heart of Elpis.
We guarantee a 70% royalty on every sale, paid solely and exclusively in cryptocurrency (Polygon/MATIC) directly to the Author’s self-custodied crypto wallet (personal crypto wallet) once per quarter (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Ledger, Trust Wallet).
Readers can pay via card or cryptocurrency, making literature accessible to everyone.

⚠️ Important and Crucial Note:
Please provide your Polygon (MATIC) wallet address. This address must start with 0x.... This works for MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Ledger, Trust Wallet, and any other Web3 wallet. Ensure you are copying the address for the Polygon Network, NOT Ethereum Mainnet. Sending funds to the wrong network may result in permanent loss.

ℹ️ Upon Submission, No self-custodied crypto wallet?
YES, You are allowed to upload your e-Book now without one! Upon creating your self-custodied crypto wallet account later, simply visit again our submission page and complete your payout details with your new wallet address starting with 0x... Polygon (MATIC).

4. Data Sovereignty

We store only the essential data (Name, Email, Wallet) required to facilitate author’s payments, secured within our private encrypted vault.
Once an e-book is approved in accordance with the Ethical Guidelines, Values, and Principles outlined in the Elpis Manifesto, the e-Book is published on the Elpis Literary House website (elpishouse.xyz) and stored on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). This ensures decentralized preservation.
